Osteoporosis Screening & Treatment
Osteoporosis Screening & Prolia® Injections
Keep Your Bones Strong
Osteoporosis is a condition that weakens bones and increases the risk of fractures. Because it often has no symptoms until a bone breaks, early screening is important.
Our providers offer osteoporosis evaluations, bone density testing, and Prolia® injections to help protect your bone health.
Osteoporosis Screening
You may benefit from a bone health evaluation if you:
- Are age 65 or older
- Have gone through menopause
- Have a family history of osteoporosis
- Have had a fracture after age 50
- Take long-term steroid medications
- Have other risk factors for bone loss
A bone density (DEXA) scan is a quick, painless test that measures bone strength and helps determine your risk for fractures.
Prolia® Injections
Prolia® is a prescription medication used to treat osteoporosis in people at high risk for fractures. It helps strengthen bones and reduce the risk of broken bones.
- Given as an injection once every six months
- Administered in our office
- Treatment is monitored by your healthcare provider
Your provider will determine if Prolia is the right treatment for you.
Caring for Your Bone Health

- Healthy lifestyle habits
